Subject 8: The Colour Pink

Pink, my favourite of all the colours.

Pink symbolises love, nurturing and feminine qualities. Along with blue, it is one of the first colours assigned to a baby. Pink for a girl and blue for a boy. However, way back, pink was for boys as it was seen as the more stronger colour and blue, the more delicate and softer colour, was for girls. Decades changed this however into what we have today… pink for the ladies and blue for the men! This represents the changes of culture and how we perceive colours as a society.
